Lauren Jackson is unapologetically herself; a black woman, and a free-spirited creative.
She’s also a crazy talented illustrator, mentor, and creative entrepreneur based in Chicago. Her love for lush colors, representation, and happiness can be seen in her illustrations in children’s books, commissions, and original prints. Each work of art, body butter, and consultation is done with love and a deep compassion.
Lauren is the founder and artist behind Lo Creates, a space for healing, creativity, and growth. Using the unique skills she gained from working in arts education nonprofit spaces and the tech industry, she helps creatives design a strategy to lead them to their purpose.
Lo Creates offers consultations for self identified women creatives to nurture their most authentic self through journaling, strategic planning, and self reflection. Her mission is to help women creatives of color listen to their inner voice, and make steps towards their passion.
