#1: How to Balance A Business And Still Be A Bomb Creative
Have you ever worried about how to balance your creative projects, keep your sanity, and run a business? If you shouted out "Yes!" then this episode is for you.
In this week's episode, I interview Ayo Lasisi, an actor, youth program coordinator for FATE, and entrepreneur who turned her passion for African dance and health into her successful fitness company, EWA Fitness.
Ayo has kept her business running for two years, while working full time, and continues her love to perform. She's a boss trailblazing her own path!
I first met Ayo at her gym in Chicago one snowy day to take her fitness class. After sweating it out from dancing, I knew we were kindred spirits. Her warm nature, positivity, and can-do attitude was all that I needed to spark a friendship.
When she told me the story behind EWA Fitness’s message to love yourself, and how it was inspired from a personal memory about her mom, I knew I needed to get her message out.
Luckily for me Ayo is an open book. She candidly shared her life, system to stay on track, how to love your internal beauty, and why it's crucial to make time to continue being creative.
You’re going to walk away from this episode with tips and tricks on how to balance your business and self care, while still making time for what matters most.
